Another NFL Season begins...(Thank God)

After a long off season, most of which was lost due to the nearly 6 month lockout, The 2011 NFL season is finally here. In just four days the New Orleans Saints will kick off the new year against the defending champion Green Bay Packers.

With a new CBA and over 5 months worth of off season activities lost, the first few weeks of the season will be very interesting to watch. Will there be a lot more significant injuries due to the lack of off season preparation? How far behind the 8-ball will young teams with new systems like The Cleveland Browns be because of shortened time to implement everything?

there are tons of questions surrounding the league but there will be a full season and that's all that really matters. So buckle up, get your fantasy drafts finished up, start making your tail-gating plans, and get ready to enjoy another year of the most entertaining sport in America. In the upcoming days I will published my predictions as well as different Fantasy Football outlooks.

With the NBA's chances of beginning on time a lot slimmer than the NFL's was, this will be the year people appreciate the great game of football even more. The worst is over, now it's time to just sit back and enjoy. Here's to 5 months of looking forward all week to Sunday cookouts, tailgating, and great NFL action....
